HACKATHON

One of the biggest event of mozilla was conducted on 01/02/2015. It was conducted as a part of kshitij- "Asia's Largest Technological Fest" workshop. It went very well.A great response came from the student side.

There were students from many colleges participating in the event.Speakers representing mozilla were also present there. They kept the heat on. It was divided in two groups, one of them worked on app development and other worked on bug solving.

There was tremendous response from the student side. 

BEST EVENT EVER - "SCRATCH!!"

One of our most successful event ,scratch.It was fully planned and well organised event that was conducted on 17/10/2014 at CIC ,Takshashila, a well equipped lab.There was a tremendous response from the students.We taught them from the basic of the scratch and take it to the whole another level where we made a game and showed to them and also encourage them to make games and apps which can make life better which can be reflected through their submissions.We also ask them various questions based on which we also gave them goodies.We also encouraged them to support mozilla through there efforts and we also told them about the open source.

HTML AND CSS WORKSHOP CONDUCTED SUCCESSFULLY

It was a great workshop and a great experience to me.More than 100 students participated in it.All the team members were very supportive.The students were very cooperative.We used mozilla's thimble platform to teach HTML and we had a great success as student seems to be more friendly to it and they can anticipate what we were teaching to them.Moreover its a platform where we can develop and at the same time others can get benefits from it.

Atlast but not least it was a hell of a experience for me to teach to such a big class and to get something build out of them.I hope that I would get big platform in future being a student ambassador of mozilla.The event was very fruitful and fun.

Before Becoming A Part Of Mozilla.....

Before I used to think that mozilla is just a browser that we use to open web pages.I was not aware of its different open source platforms.I used to think that its is a company but it is basically a non- profit mission.I was not aware of all the tools that Mozilla provides to support web literature.

Wonderful Journey Starts Here..

It Started when I became a part of Mozilla.I came to know about its open source platform and Bugzilla which is really interesting.It was like a new world for me.I can explore,learn,develop and contribute.It is the best that i could get from a non-profit organisation.The main thing is about its open source and free of cost which makes it valuable.I came to know about solving bugs and to know about different web pages through X-ray goggles which is a fantastic tool.At last but not least Mozilla is something on which i can rely upon because doing good is part of their code.
